Six L’s Packing Co. utilizes a comprehensive Food Safety Program that encompasses our entire fresh produce growing and packing operations.  Our program is an integrated system developed on the principles and theories as outlined in the USDA/FDA Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations and Commodity Specific Food Safety Guidelines for the Fresh Tomato Supply Chain. 

 

All company managers and key personnel have been trained and certified on food safety.  All packinghouse and farm personnel are trained on GMP, GAP, food safety and food security principles. 

 

All of our farms and facilities are annually audited by Davis Fresh.  The entire corporate audit records are available for our customers on the Davis Fresh database.  The company has also completed an entire social accountability audit.

 

Our philosophy focuses on continuity and continuous improvement.   In doing so, we are confident in our ability to provide fresh produce that has met the highest standards of food safety.
